Objectives: Procure new cloud infrastructure for the needs of SPICE platform and use cases

  • Computing capacity of CPU nodes 200 teraflops in double precision.
  • Accelerated capacity (GPU nodes) 400 teraflops in double precision (i.e. 6 petaflops in single precision for artificial intelligence tasks). 
  • High-speed storage based on SSD disks with a capacity of 512 TB.
  • High-capacity storage with a capacity of 2.5 PB.
  • The nodes of the infrastructure will be equipped with high-speed (NVMe) disks and will be interconnected by a high-capacity (100 Gb/s) network. 
  • The cloud infrastructure will be managed by a cloud computing platform and will use three service nodes, two management nodes and UPS units to ensure high availability.
